As a parent, your goal is to make your kid look healthy and happy every single day. You don’t want your child to get himself bored at home, right? If you want your child to be happy for most of the day, you’ve got to do something that excites him or her. Excitement brings the energy within you and your kid. Once you’re showing off some excitement, he or she will be excited no matter what you do, and where you’re going to do it.

Without further ado, here are some fresh ideas that will possibly work for your kid to become excited with you every single day.

Tip #1: Go out and exercise together every morning

Your goal is to make sure that your kid’s routine is not just sitting around in your home and do nothing. You have to take your child with you every morning to exercise. Kids love to run, jog and run as much as they want. To keep the fun going, always tell your child to get up in the morning and join you in daily exercises with excitement.

For your child to have fun with you in doing morning exercises, watching training videos and following them would be an exciting one. If there’s a Zumba dance club near you, take the kid with you. It was maybe a little bit fun for your child to watch you exercise, but joining with you can boost up his or her excitement level.

Tip #2: Be creative or “think outside the box” in preparing your meals or snacks

If you want your kid to maintain his or her excitement, try something new. Don’t just cook or make the same stuff for your child to eat on the table. Let’s say that you are making chocolate chip cookies for your child to eat. Draw a smiley on your kid’s cookies with choco or any flavored syrup. For sure, he or she’s going to love it. It’s all about thinking outside of the box. Creativity matters.

Tip #3: Hang out with your kid during free time

For sure, your child wants to spend more time with you. It’s common for parents like you to work for eight hours a day, five days a week. However, if you can’t give at least a little time with your kid, there will be no more excitement for him or her. Try commit yourself to do something exciting for your child during free time by hanging out. You can do anything that the child wants like hiking, playing basketball, carnival rides and so on.

Tip #4: Give small rewards to your kid for doing well at home and school

It’s important that you should give something in return once your child does well both at home and school. Kids love to be rewarded by their parents for doing something great. For example, your child has cleaned up his or her room; you should give a small reward like buying chocolates or candies. Another example is that if your child gets high grades in school, buy him or her a toy or anything that makes them happy. It will bring excitement and motivation for your child to excel at home and in school.

Tip #5: Compliment, compliment, compliment!

Never forget to compliment your kid every day. Let’s say your child successfully solves the jigsaw puzzle, compliment him or her immediately. Whenever your child wears a beautiful dress, eats fruits and vegetables, or winning a quiz contest, never forget to say something helpful to your child. It drives motivation and excitement from your child to make you satisfied every day.

Final thoughts

Once you apply any of these tips to your kids every day, there’s no doubt that they’re going to be like that instead of hating or not liking you at all. Bringing daily excitement to your kid is one way to strengthen and maintain your relationship towards each other. It may not happen in an instant. Take it one day at a time, be patient and persistent, and it’ll be worth it in the end.
