If you’re already getting excited about golf season, we’ll help you plan out your upcoming season so you can hit all the best courses. Although you may have a favorite club that you play on, make this year interesting and try new courses across Southern Ontario.

Whether you’re looking for day trips or a solid week of golfing on a range of courses, there are a number of incredible courses to choose from that will offer you stunning views, challenging holes, and wonderful service.

Let’s go over the courses that I have planned for me and my fellow golfers throughout the upcoming season:

Niagara Region

The Niagara Region, including Niagara Falls and Niagara-on-the-Lake, is a beautiful, green, and stunning area that both looks wonderful and is a joy to play. With incredible views and courses, there is an assortment of courses that are sure to impress. If you’ve seen the Falls before, consider heading back out to the area to enjoy it for a round of golf instead!

Both Legends On The Niagara and Niagara-on-the-Lake Golf Club have spectacular courses views and scenery, as well as challenging and enjoyable holes. Come out and test yourself here during the day and enjoy the falls at night.

Greater Toronto Area (GTA)

If you’re living in Toronto or the GTA, there are a number of courses you can get to that aren’t that far, but allow you to get out of the city for a day. Take a day out in a more rural and quiet setting in some of the surrounding towns and areas, like Aurora or Whitby.

Beacon Hall is an incredible course located in Aurora that features beautiful landscapes, bountiful trees, and incredible greens. The course is challenging enough for more advanced players while still being enjoyable for beginners. To find out more go to www.beaconhall.com.

Royal Ashburn Golf Club, located in Whitby, is another gorgeous course that will offer players of various difficulties a wonderful place to play. Their quality course is matched by their customer service and care, and they offer great food, beverage, and entertainment as well! After a round of golf, you won’t want to go home!

Collingwood

While many of you likely go to Collingwood – like me – during the winter to enjoy the slopes of Blue Mountain Resort, it’s just as enjoyable and has just as much to offer as in the summer! Don’t just head out in the winter, but go out during the summer and enjoy the Cranberry Golf Resort. It offers the stunning scenery of a rural area and has a challenging course that will test your abilities.

These are the stops I’ve added to the lists of places that I’m going this year, whether my friends come or not. The best part is, I won’t have to leave Ontario to get access to incredible courses! I’ll be able to enjoy a day here in Southern Ontario out on the links.
